CHENNAI: Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) will set up car talent enhancement centers (ASECs) in 15 authorities-run ITIs, throughout 11 states, within the subsequent 3 months. These ASECs might be part of the corporation’s talent development initiative below corporate social responsibility.
The first of these ASECs become inaugurated through Maruti MD Kenichi Ayukawa at ITI Nizamuddin in New Delhi on Thursday.
Each ASEC could be prepared with a modern workshop to provide practical schooling in vehicle carrier and repair to college students. The workshops may be ready with current-day carrier tools and gadget and modern Maruti Suzuki automobiles.
Along with this, the corporation will hire complete-time trainers. It will set up schooling for the existing ITI teachers on ultra-modern generation and system. Maruti Suzuki may even organize commercial outreach programs to improve talents of students and make them task-geared up.
In all, the organization will spend Rs 6 crore in those 15 ASECs, as part of its company social responsibility (CSR). Around six hundred students are predicted to gain from these ASECs, yearly.
